Goals: To (a) deepen interpersonal connections among faculty members, (b) expand interdisciplinary connections across the Spurgeon College and MBTS curricular disciplines, and (c) stay current on faculty writing projects.
Plan: Lunch gatherings for fellowship and faculty interviews. Dr. Chipman will interview panels of faculty regarding their specific curricular emphasis. Questions may include: What led you to study this particular area? Who influenced you toward it? What, in brief, do you want all Spurgeon College/MBTS students to know about studying this area? How does this area contribute to the broader curricular offerings of Spurgeon College/MBTS? How do other areas of the curriculum contribute to your area of expertise? What are you currently contributing to your area in your writing projects? What resources might you recommend faculty read to grasp your discipline or get caught up to speed?
