Since moving to Nashville in 2014, Dodd has opened for Sam Hunt, Old Dominion, Jake Owen, Corey Smith, Cole Swindell and Rodney Atkins. His musical journey has him weaving seamlessly between Country, Pop and Americana, with themes that speak to the heart of Friday night, as well as Sunday morning. As a songwriter, he can be sweetly nostalgic and equally rambunctious. His lovestruck song, “The Reason,” recently struck 4 million streams across various music services. It was included in multiple playlists on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, Pandora and YouTube. The video, which features Dodd’s wife was featured on CMT’s “Must-See Indies You Need To Know” and the “12-Pack Countdown.” Wide Open Country called the song “heartfelt and anthemic.” More recently, his hits song, “Right Where You Left It” and “Baecation” have become fan favorites, and you can’t help but sing along to the catchy melodies and lyrics. Dodd is a romantic with a wild side and often times, he is writing four songs each week, Eric’s songwriting prowess has led to success with his songs being recorded by artists such as Spencer Crandall, Colt Ford, Allie Colleen, Kalie Shorr, Rodell Duff, Anslee Davidson and the Dutch country superstar, “Waylon” plus more. Anslee Davidson was singing before she could talk. Even as a baby she would “sing” without any words. Once her vocabulary grew, so did her passion and love for music. She sang every chance she was given. From elementary and middle school talent shows to countless musicals to leading worship at church, Anslee was born to be on stage engaging audiences for the greater good. While on a family trip in Hawaii, at 11 years old, Anslee chose a ukulele for her souvenir. She quickly learned to play it and performed just three weeks after receiving the instrument. Soon after, she wanted to graduate to a guitar like “daddy’s” and received her first acoustic at age 12. She immediately began writing songs and felt that unbridled fire to create. She and her dad, Dave, began to collaborate and are still co-writing songs together. In the summer of 2020, Anslee decided to take her talents on the road. In just a few years, she has garnered a following with her distinctive voice, which has been described as soulful and timeless. Her presence draws the audience into her heartfelt storytelling, and her unique musical home, which rests naturally in the Country/Folk/Americana genres. She performed her first public concert as the opening act for her good friend and fellow entertainer, Eric Dodd to a sold-out crowd at the Red Clay Music Foundry (Eddie Owen Presents) in Duluth, Georgia in the fall of 2020. Around that time, Anslee was also offered an audition from the casting producers of American Idol. She made it through the early rounds and was given an opportunity to perform for the celebrity judges (Katy Perry, Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie). Anslee received three "Yes" votes and was given a Golden Ticket to move forward to Hollywood Week. Unfortunately, despite her efforts to quarantine, Anslee tested positive for COVID just three days prior to flying out to Hollywood and was forced to drop out of the competition. This unavoidable speed bump only made Anslee hungrier and more driven to spread her music to the masses. Anslee Davidson is as resilient as she is talented and on September 17, 2021 she released her debut single, “I’ll Wait For You,” and has since released her debut EP, "Letters Home EP," along with several other singles. The majority of Anslee's songs have been playlisted by Spotify's editorial team, and are racking up streams by the thousands each week. Anslee is entering the next chapter of her long career ahead as she will release her first fully produced single "Just Like July" on July 1, 2022. Hello world, get ready for Anslee Davidson as she is just getting started!
