Youngquist Brothers Rock is currently seeking to hire an experienced purchasing assistant. Job description Youngquist Brothers Rock is seeking a full-time Purchasing Assistant. Duties and Responsibilities: The following duties are typical of those performed by employees in this job title; however, employees may perform other related duties, and not all duties listed are necessarily performed by each employee in the job title: · Inspect purchased products upon delivery and reporting any issues timely · Communicate with coworkers regarding the arrival and status of their orders · Verify receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered; resolves shipments in error. · Design and implement a tool/consumables inventory tracking system to optimize tool inventory control procedures · Evaluate processes and provide recommendations for improvement Qualifications · Possess expert knowledge of all processes associated with receiving, inventory control, purchasing, and shipping · Lift and carry heavy material at least 50 lbs. · High school diploma or GED equivalent · Spanish-speaking preferred, but not required. · Must possess a valid driver’s license. · Must pass a background check and drug screening What we offer: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, Group Accident, Life, Long and Short Term Disability.
