Drummer Wanted
Meets
Ann Arbor MI
Description
We are “The Suspenders”, and we are looking for a non-smoking, vaccinated and boosted, QUIET drummer/percussionist. Prefer an older drummer, especially one that might already be retired. We desire a cooperative, positive, supportive and non-critical drummer/percussionist. Someone that can sing as a backup vocalist is also desired. We are a soft (not loud) rock/classic rock and folk music band; we play a few blues songs as well. Auditions for a drummer begin next week (Sept 7th). The audition will be at my house in NW Ann Arbor. We are looking for a “quiet” drummer, especially one that may have an electronic drum set. We are not a loud band; we focus on clearly hearing the vocals hearing each instrument when they are playing a solo. If you are a loud drummer, we understand that, but that is not what we are looking for. We typically rehearse @ my house for 2 hours on Mon., Wed., Friday from 6-8; so the audition will be during that time, probably for 1 hour, as well as a short “get to know” you talk. We ask that you bring a small drum set or an electronic drum set for the audition. Please, do not bring a full set of drums.
