I’ve sadly come to the conclusion that it’s probably best I rehome my boy. My mental health at the moment is not the best and I can not properly care for him. Truthfully he deserves more. I adopt this boy last year from some people who lived on a farm, he was a farm boy and didn’t have ANY house manners when he came home. He’s now fully potty trained and kennel trained I can say with confidence. His leash manners are improving every day as well, he is a bit jumpy however and gets excited. This man is food motivated and will work for his snacks! He does best with positive reinforcement and snacks, we’ve also been using a clicker while training and he responds amazingly. His last family let the kids and bigger dogs beat up on him (the reason he was rehomed) so he is skiddish at times. He still loves kids and all people though. I’d definitely keep an eye on him around smaller kids. He is mouthy and WILL put their hands and whatever else will fit in his mouth, he does not understand his size and strength. He’s good with cats and dogs but I’d also recommend slow introductions with dogs bigger than him or close to his size. He is neutered and has had all his shots as well as microchipped so he’s all set thankfully. He will come with all of his stuff including his kennel, dog food, snacks, every leash, harness and shirt he has. He’ll have everything. I paid close to 2grand adopting him from him past family, he’s akc registered and has his papers. There is a rehoming fee for him and his things as well, he is not free and I’ll be picky about who he goes to. He’s a good boy and this hurts so bad but he needs more than what I’m able to give him right now. I’m asking $350 for him and his things as well as vet references. I understand it’s a steep price but I need to make sure you can care for him, bulldogs tend to have health issues as is (that’s why I got him neutered, everyone kept asking to breed their dog to him) and vet bills are not cheap. I’ll send pictures of him to people I feel are a good fit for him. Thanks for reading. HE CAN NOT HAVE CHICKEN OR ANY FOOD WITH CHICKEN
