Treeline Construction is a local, family-owned company that specializes in deck-building. Currently we are seeking experienced deck builders and carpenters for immediate hire. Our team is made up of talented designers, engineers, project foremen, advanced apprentices and an amazing support staff. We work year-round, so we like to hire long-term and career-minded individuals. And while we are looking for individuals with at least two years’ experience, we’re willing to train the right candidates and there's room for advancement. This position is a full-time, permanent (year-round) position. Applicants should submit inquiries and resumes to [email protected] Requirements: • 2+ years experience in deck building or carpentry, lots of on the job training provided • Knowledge of hand tools and power tools • Ability to measure and cut with precision • Strong ability to follow directions from others • Attention to detail • Desire to learn more and grow with our company • Willing to assist in all aspects of projects • Ability and desire to work on jobs independently after fully trained • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record • Reliable transportation • Ability to pass a background and drug-screening • Able to lift 50+ pounds regularly and perform repetitive motions • Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions • Framing, finish work, and knowledge of decking and railing systems a plus! This Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is: • Dependable – more reliable than spontaneous • Adaptable/flexible – enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction • Detail-oriented – able to focus more on the details of the work • Autonomous/Independent – enjoys working with little direction Job Information: • Shift - typically 8 hour days, M-F; OT as needed • Pay - $20-$30 per hour, DOE; • Benefits - 401K • Location(s) - primarily Anchorage-based, but we have jobs sites in ER, the MatSu, Girdwood and other locations
