Personal/Family Assistant Part-time Position Busy CEO/family looking for an assistant to help with scheduling, driving, childcare and household tasks PAY $25/hr SCHEDULE Monday-Thursday 12 - 5 (20 hours to start, can grow to more hours if both parties agree) occasional evening/weekend availability (advanced notice will be given) RESPONSIBILITIES • Safe and secure transportation of (1) child from school each day • Maintain vehicle cleanliness (interior and exterior) • Maintain vehicle readiness (fuel, tire pressure, service records, etc.) • Prepare snack/provide childcare for 2 - 3 hours per day • Perform light housekeeping tasks such as: grocery shopping, food prep, empty/load dishwasher, managing clutter, laundry • Walking/feeding/letting the dog out • Working on household projects such as: breaking down cardboard for recycling, organizing, etc. • Relaying accurate information, scheduling meetings and appointments, making travel arrangements • Running errands (amazon and other returns, post office, etc.) REQUIREMENTS • Flexible and able to accommodate spontaneous changes to after school routines and plans • Able to work legally in the United States, with a valid driver’s license, and spotless driving record • Required background and reference checks • CPR training a plus • Recent experience in a similar role strongly preferred • Nonsmoker BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: • Excellent communication skills • Must enjoy and have prior experience working with children • Polished, friendly, professional demeanor • Highly organized individual with ability to multitask • Proactive go-getter: no task is too big or too small • Ability to maintain a strict level of discretion and confidentiality • Respond to phone and text quickly COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS We are fully vaccinated and boosted. You would need to be double vaccinated and boosted to apply and follow all recommended safety protocols as a member of the household is immune compromised (not to mention it is the right thing to do.) We swear, joke around, and like to have fun, but we’re direct, and have high expectations. We don’t like excuses and don’t make them ourselves. We’re punctual and expect you to be the same. We take responsibility for our mistakes and will require the same of you. Our kid is awesome and super easy. We work from home and would be around while you are here, but unavailable most of the time for chit/chat or socialization. You will fit right in if you don’t take this personally. That doesn’t mean we don’t want to get to know you; we just need someone to hold down the fort while we run our business.
