Position Title: Facility Supervisor-Civic Park Organization: KIDSPORTS Number of Openings: 1-2 Work Schedule: Evenings and Weekends Hours per Week: 15-28 Compensation: $14.00/hr Employment Start Date: Mid-September, 2022 Position Description: GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES This is an employee position reporting to the Executive Director and Scheduler. The primary responsibility of the Facility Supervisor is to supervise the activities occurring in the gym and on the turf field for rentals and events, and the immediate adjacent areas of each facility. Primary duties include but are not limited to: set-up/take-down of equipment; clean-up and oversight of facilities; opening and closing of the gyms and/or field. Other responsibilities will include, but not limited to: record keeping; documenting game and/or incident reports for KS staff; documenting accidents/injuries; conflict management; enforcing the facility rules and policies regarding the use of the gym and field as well as rules/policies set by KIDSPORTS. Supervisors are required to provide a high level of customer service, and professionalism for spectators, players, coaches, officials and staff. Must be willing to do cleaning and upkeep of gyms, field and facility. WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL ABILITIES This position works indoors & outdoors with groups of adults and children. Must be able to set-up and take-down equipment including volleyball nets, basketball hoops, bleachers, chair, desks, etc. Must be able to lift 20-50 lbs. and able to respond and react to emergency situations. May work non-standard work weeks and shifts to include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Qualifications: Previous experience working with recreation programs, some knowledge of recreational facility maintenance and experience working with people /or previous team-sports experience; and/or customer service experience desired but not required. Seeking OUTGOING and professional individuals who are able to greet those entering the gym or field, and assist or direct them in response to program or facility questions as well as some facilities maintenance and cleaning duties. Must be 18 years of age and have reliable transportation to facility. KIDSPORTS is a drug free work place and applicants are subject to background checks and drug screening.
