Looking for Live Musicians for Solo Indie Dance Project

Hi there! I'm Shawna. I'm looking for some live musicians for a solo project. It's a guitar-driven indie disco/dance/pop vibe. Think ABBA meets Stereolab (link to demo below). I currently have some studio sessions booked with Cam Spies (Radiation city, Night Heron) and I hope to start releasing tracks this fall. Additionally, I'm going to be playing some live shows this fall as well and I need some help. I'm hoping to not play any instruments live so I can focus on being charismatic and all that. So I'm going to need: * 1-2 Guitarists * 1-2 Synthesists ideally someone good at programming beats in addition to someone being capable on keys or all same person * maybe a drummer but I think it will be all drum machines, although electronic drum kit would be cool * the bassist from my other band, Exotic Physics, is going to play bass * I'm open to other musicians as well such as brass, woodwind, percussion, etc The project is influenced by: Robyn, Diamond Rings, ESG, Tanlines, Twin Shadow, ABBA, Tycho, Daft Punk, FM-84, Kylie Minogue, The B-52s, Peaches, Tegan & Sara, The Jets, Janet Jackson, Haim, Curve, Neneh Cherry, George Michael I have a demo with three songs on it. I'm no engineer that's for sure. I'm certain the studio versions will be pretty different. I have more demos (about 8 songs total). Well, I'm not independently wealthy so I don't have a lot to pay. But I will work out something with you that we both deem fair. Obviously there would be what we make at shows and I would not keep any for myself and I'd divide what we make between the live musicians (unless it's a huge money making show but it will be fair and agreed upon). And I want to account for your time learning the songs and practicing. I'm also open to trade. I would play live for your project. Or, I'm a damn good photographer (I used to shoot for Nike) and I can do photos for you. I'm also a designer and can do cover art, flyers and all that. I will also make sure it's fun. I'm organized, respectful, open to your ideas, and I work very hard at music. I have a place to practice. Let me know if you're interested! Thanks! Shawna
