Beautiful (6) year old German Shepard named Maya. My adult son adopted her when she was about a year old. He moved out of state a year ago and is not able to take her and I am no longer able to have her. Maya is a small female (about 55 lbs) and VERY smart. She follows commands, is completely house broken and is high energy. She will play fetch with a ball or stick or whatever you want to throw for her for as long as you want to throw. She has never been around small children so I'm not sure how she would do. She has done well with male dogs but has scuffled with other females. When Maya bonds - she is very protective and loyal. She is a GREAT dog and whomever adopts her is getting a great companion.
