We are based in Newton, but work all around Bucks county. We are a political campaign hiring canvassers to support candidates across Lower & Central Bucks County. A strong commitment to politics and educating voters is a must. Hours: Flexible, runs from 9/6-11/8 (Election Day) Salary: Hourly rate of $18/hour Responsibilities * Engage with voters door to door educating them about our supported candidates and the importance of their vote. * Consistently show up on time for all weekly shifts (Early is on time, on time is late, and late is unacceptable) Qualifications * Excellent communication and oratory skills * Ability to memorize a short script and adjust as needed for audience * Ability to meet goals * Basic computer and interpersonal skills * Able to walk for long periods of time * Punctuality! * Highly motivated * Previous canvassing or phone banking experience, either paid or volunteer, is not required, but will receive preferential treatment. * Ability to start immediately Work Remotely No Job Types: Part-time, Temporary Salary: $18.00 per hour COVID-19 considerations: All employees are required to be vaccinated and wear masks while talking to voters.
