We are currently in the need of 3 (THREE) Full-time Material Handler II to work in our Lafayette, CO, facility. The work schedule's are: (1) Monday – Friday, 5:00AM – 1:30PM and (2) Monday - Friday, 7:00AM to 3:30PM. POSITION SUMMARY Works under the close supervision of the Materials Manager to receive raw materials, ship final product, assist in monthly and yearly inventory counts and issue material to packaging and production departments as needed. KEY JOB DUTIES * Receive, identify and mark inbound materials. * Pull, deliver and stage orders for production and packaging. * Load and unload trailers. * Perform physical inventory and cycle counts. * Prepare orders for shipment. * Operate forklift in a safe manner. * Rotate stock and keep bin locations organized. * Maintain clean warehouse. * Maintain electronic log and hard copy of receiving and shipping files. * Communicates with operations and quality employees promptly and professionally. * Perform opening or closing duties. * Follow GMP requirements in performance of job duties. * Perform other projects / duties as assigned COMPANY REQUIREMENTS * Must be able to read, write, and converse in the English language. * Must be able to pass background check. * Must be able to move 50 lbs. from floor to 48 inches height. * Ability to lift, twist, crawl, reach, grab, bend, climb, perform similar activities as needed and stand for long periods. * Must be able to work in a variety of conditions: noise, dust, heavy lifting, repetitive motion, standing for long periods of time. * Must be able to recognize audible hazards. * Maintain good attendance. WORK PREFERENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS * High school diploma or GED. * Two or more years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. * Fork Lift experience preferred but not required.
