Job description Township Building Services is looking for a full time Maintenance Technician to join our team. This job will be performed at multiple locations in the greater Portland area. Schedule: 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday (Some weekend availability may be required) Must have a valid drivers license and good driving record. Possible duties include (but are not limited to): Exterior building maintenance of buildings. - Patrol grounds and remove litter including bio-hazards using proper PPE - Blow sidewalks and building entries to keep free of debris, pile debris for landscapers to remove - Clean trash enclosures - Notify property manager of any issues with the parking lot lights, landscaping, curbs and asphalt - Tag illegally parked and abandoned vehicles and notify property manager for tow - Report security issues and contact police for trespass - Pressure wash sidewalks as needed to keep clean - Wipe down and clean bike racks, benches, pedestrian bridges to keep free of cobwebs, bird droppings and debris - Other exterior maintenance as directed by Operations Manager Interior building maintenance of buildings. - Perform light maintenance as needed. Examples are, but not limited to: trouble shoot any HVAC issues, handle very minor repairs, check thermostats and supplies for temperature. - Change lights and analyze electrical issues. - Remove spider mites and keep ground level windows clean. - Graffiti removal - Roof and drain cleaning with minor fixes. - Door issues analyzed/fixed. - Ceiling tiles replaced. - Touch up painting, (painting of a noncommercial quality). - Report any issues that require additional trouble shooting or repairs by licensed professionals due to intricate problems/installations. 15.
