Free Cat: Adorable cuddler needs new home

7 year old and healthy Admiral Grace Hopper, or "Gracie" to her friends, is a chatty part Mancoon or Norwegian Forest cat and part Russian Blue mystery mix, with gorgeous, unbelievably soft fine fur who prefers the indoors. She is very cuddly and affectionate after a short acclimation period. She needs a quiet home where she can be in charge. Our other cat always caused her some stress but with the introduction of a baby we have not been able to give her enough attention and it is with a heavy heart that we must put her up for adoption to a quiet, clean home without any other pets, and no babies. When she wants your attention she will meow while holding her stuffed animal we call "Lambie" (included) and bring it to the room you are in. She is an indoor cat but you won't have to worry about her running away, at least after you get to know each other, as she is terrified of traffic and will generally only venture outside if coaxed by a friend. She does like to hop outside and eat a bit of grass every now and then, as a treat. She is no hunter and will leave your neighborhood birds alone. Gracie is very gentle; she has never used her claws on us even by accident and would sooner slip off our laps with her furry paws than hurt us with her claws to keep purchase, unlike our other cat. She has a cute, chirpy voice like many mancoons and loves to exchange these sounds with you. She will not destroy your furniture, she only sharpens her claws on cardboard scratchboards. You must scoop her litter once a day and she needs the box to be on the main floor as she does not like to jump or climb over things when she needs to go. We think she was given a hysterectomy too young and doesn't like to be held but she will put up with it patiently for a minute. We are happy to include a bag of her preferred litter, a bag of the food we usually give her, scratch board, and cat brush. We are willing to pay the pet registration fee and we can deliver her or you can pick her up, let us know.
