1. Qualification Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent. Basic math, writing, and reading skills needed. Must have at least 2 years forklift experience. 2. Reports to: Distribution Center Manager and Distribution Center Asst. Manager(s) 3. Authority: May initiate preventive actions & recommend solutions. May halt any unsafe activity. 4. Special Circumstances of the Job: Job requires ability to make safe decisions in the moving and handling of hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals. Meet all requirements of Job Functions Analysis (JFA for HR4-E-142DC). This position involves safety-sensitive functions. 5. Job Duties, Functions, & Responsibilities: Warehouse Material Handlers A. Responsible for the safe handling, storing, labeling, loading/unloading of materials. B. Maintaining the integrity of material(s) stored in the warehouse C. Pulling chemicals and components in accordance to special instructions on Picking Lists D. Storing materials into various rack, shelf, & floor locations E. Operating Forklift, Reach Truck, and/or Power Pallet Jack. F. May need to operate drum dollies and manual pallet jacks. G. Safely loading, unloading, and transporting hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals. H. Will need to safely complete tasks & duties as trained I. Complete cycle counts as requested & participate in full physical inventories as scheduled J. Neatly & accurately complete all necessary paperwork applicable for the task K. Report any safety issues, incidents and/or safety violations immediately to Management L. Wear appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required 6. Other Duties: A. Maintains a clean and safe working environment. B. Must complete all machine training offered by company appropriate to job function. C. Execution of activities as assigned. D. Responsibilities involving food safety, when required.
