At this event, you will hear from elected, business, community and neighborhood leaders about the future of multimodal transportation across the region. A strong region requires a strong city of Milwaukee, well connected to the wider region with a wide array of transportation choices. We will explore how that imperative is coming to life on September 29, when we will discuss a vision for a better-connected greater downtown Milwaukee, rapid regional transit links, and new, innovative transportation alternatives, including FlexRide Milwaukee. Scheduled speakers include Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson, while panels will explore how transit can lift up Milwaukee’s greater downtown and neighborhoods, connecting workers to jobs and driving redevelopment, as well as opportunities and challenges in front of the region’s multimodal transit platforms.
