Rola Z is the producer and host of this show! She creates Niche shows in DC including Funny Arabs. She grew up in Greece, and has lived in North America and the Middle East and has collected unique perspectives from her travels around the world. She has performed at the NYC Gotham Comedy Club at the Arab-American Comedy Festival, in Montreal, Greece and her comedic journey has been featured in District Fray magazine, The National, and Dubai TV. Badar Tareen is a Pakistani-American comedian who has performed at the Desi Comedy Festival, Cleveland Comedy Festival, Jersey City Comedy Festival, 5th Borough Comedy Festival, Plano Comedy Festival and more. He has hosted and performed at clubs and events in New York City, Washington DC, San Francisco, Oakland, Cleveland, Dublin, and Pakistan. Sunny Soroosh is a SAG-AFTRA Actor and Stand Up Comedian, as well as a Nurse-Midwife! She is best known for her costarring role as “Pammy” on Amy Schumer’s Life and Beth on Hulu. She also played Jason Alexander’s assistant on The Problem with Jon Stewart on Apple TV in his role as Jeff Bezos. She has opened for Kate Robards at the Marsh Theater in San Francisco. Her comedy credits include performances at the DC Comedy Loft in Washington, DC, Laughs Comedy Club in Seattle, WA, and Eastville Comedy Club in New York, NY. Simone is a seasoned Ethiopian-American Stand-Up who has performed all over the world and is based in DC. He has featured at the main stages of Arlington Drafthouse and DC Improv for nationally touring headliners such as Amir K, Bob Marley, Cristela Alonzo, Fortune Feimster, Pete Davidson, Tommy Davidson, and Iliza Shlesinger. He has also performed at Comic Strip Live and at Laughing Buddha’s Village Lantern in New York, NY as well as Los Angeles, California’s Comedy Store. Ivi Demi is an Albanian-American comedian who first dabbled in open mics in Ithaca, NY while studying at Cornell University. In 2020, he finally manned up and started doing open mics around DC. His comedy focuses on growing up as an immigrant in the US, talking about his parents, and generally being as self-deprecating as he can. Demi Chang is a veteran first-generation immigrant who has performed all over the US and has featured on the Kill Tony podcast and The Secret Show in Austin Texas.
