Looking to start a band that isn’t god awful

I’m a 28 year old dude, looking to start a band with people who’re sick of all the shitty low-T bands today. Original music only, NO COVERS. You don’t have to be an absolute shredder, you just need to know a thing or two about songwriting. Playing live, touring, and making $$$ sounds great, but the music comes first. I take it seriously and at the same time I don’t. I think its important to be irreverent and have fun, like Ween, for example. In the process of joking around, you might write some really good songs. That’s my approach anyways. I like and play all kinds of music. Heavy, soft. Melodic, non melodic. Joke bands, serious bands.
