Come out to Coati in Downtown Colorado Springs for Drag Jeopardy hosted by your house Queen, Libby Doe!! Don’t miss this event every last Tuesday of the month to test your knowledge and just be fabulous darling! Showtime @7pm, read below for details about the game! The $10 for each group is a “participant fee.” $5 will go into the pool for the winners of the night, the other $5 will go to Inside Out Youth Services, a non-profit advocating for LGBTQ+ Youth here in Colorado Springs! *this fee is not being charged by COATI* How the game is played! Teams consisting of 2-5 people will be faced with a wall of 60 questions broken up into 6 categories. The questions are worth 100-1000 points and range in difficultly depending on how high the point value is. Each team has a buzzer so the first team to buzz in gets the first guess, if that team is incorrect one of the other teams can try and buzz in quickly to steal. At the end of the game there will be 3 Final Round questions each worth 3000 points, all teams will get to answer these questions so it can really turn the game around! If you need more help LifeLines have been created to help you along the way! They are: *Ask the host- Costs 25-200 points depending on difficulty of question. After your team buzzes in if you panic and can’t think of an answer you can say “Ask the Host”. The host will come to the table and whisper a hint so other teams don’t hear. The team will then have 15 seconds to answer. This can be used as many times as long as team has available points. *Block- Sacrifice 500 points to stop another team from answering a question. To use this lifeline when a rival team buzzes in, BEFORE they answer you can say “Block” and that team will no longer be able to answer. You can only use this once so choose wisely. *Phone a Buddy- For 300 points you can literally call someone who isn’t at the trivia night to see if they know the answer. After buzzing in quickly say “Phone a Buddy” you will then be given 30 seconds after the person picks up to ask them the question and get an answer. When the call is over you have 10 seconds to choose your answer. You can use this 2 times. Whichever Team has the most points at the end of the night wins the prize! HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE DIVA! 💖💖
