Steven M. Topper, M.D., is a widely published and revered orthopedic surgeon here in Colorado Springs. A graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and retired Lieutenant Colonel who served in the Air Force as a both a flight surgeon and a parachutist. He enjoys teaching young surgeons to be the best they can be and developing novel surgical approaches and medical devices. Dr. Topper holds two patents for medical devices and has founded several different local surgery centers. Dr. Topper has served in medical missions and volunteering for nonprofit organizations as well as serving as the COO for Promise Keepers. He serves as an elder at his church and has been married to his wife Lora Beth for more than 30 years and they have four children together.
