Edible Communities, in collaboration with Food Tank, celebrates 20 years of telling the story of local food and drink as we gather at the Edible Institute in Denver, CO, to explore the ideas, challenges and changes that will shape our food communities in the next decade and beyond. When: Saturday, October 1 - Sunday, October 2, 2022 Where: Grand Ballroom, Brown Palace Hotel & Spa, Denver, CO (map) The focus of this year's event will be on Transparency, Traceability and Trust. Saturday, October 1, 2022, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Keynote: Dr. Temple Grandin. We are thrilled to announce that our keynote speaker will be Dr. Temple Grandin, a scientist whose ground-breaking work in animal behavior has helped shape standards of excellence for the humane treatment of animals around the world. Panel: Grassfed Foods—Why It Matters Panel: Blue Foods—Changing Menus, Saving the Planet Panel: Colorado Foodways Taste of Denver: Edible Denver is bringing friends! Sample bites and drinks from local food and drink artisans and producers.
