Serenity's Oasis and Blossom & Grow presents: Harvest Festival: A community healing event.
This family friendly community event is the first of many community focused events catered to uplifting community. The inaugural event features from America's Got Talent, Ballet After Dark, a black ballet dance group that formed to use dance as a healing platform. Chef Lucky from Baltimore Maryland will also be onsite with his food truck giving live cooking demonstrations to teach people how to prepare great tasting healthy food options.
Blossom and grow will be holding plant & paint therapy sessions to teach people how plants and painting can be therapeutic. Serenity's Oasis team will be providing yoga, Pilates and martial arts demonstrations. Nurses, social workers and other medical community will be onsite to help community members with questions they may have.
Live entertainment not only include Ballet after Dark and Chef Lucky, H.I.M. the poet will be opening up the event with one of his thought provoking poems, Jazzo smooth melodic voice will have attendees wanting more, Elder Sam Allen, former Negro League baseball player will be onsite speaking and sharing knowledge that he has acquired over the years. Birth in Color Doula collective will be onsite sharing information to birthers and their families about the importance of maternal health, an awakened Portsmouth Native will be speaking and more to be added!
Vendors will be onsite showcasing their talents and gifts for your shopping convivence.
