September is Sickle Cell Awareness Month and VSCN would like to introduce our network to those individuals and caregivers impacted by sickle cell disease during our SCD Awareness Summit on September, 2022. This summit is open to members of the SCD community who can benefit from a robust continuum of care- providing awareness, access to resources, education and advocacy during our first annual SCD Awareness and advocacy summit. Summit attendees will have the opportunity to meet providers face to face, share vital information, attend workshops on relevant care topics, meet other allies and connect with support groups to aid them in their journeys.
