Timothy Harvey CEO and Co-Founder, Owl Peak Labs Dana Goldsmith Entrepreneur in Residence, CvilleBioHub - Session Moderator Speaker Bios Ian Connett, Esq. is a start-up lawyer, LegalTech entrepreneur, and the Founder & CEO of CONNETT PC, an outsourced General Counsel-as-a-Service platform that supports the growth of venture backed technology start-ups. Since founding CONNETT PC in 2018, clients of CONNETT PC have raised over $100M in venture capital across several verticals, including BioTech, Hospitality, AdTech and AI and Machine Learning platforms. Prior to founding CONNETT PC, Ian served as both in-house and external counsel to numerous technology ventures based in New York City. He is a graduate of Pace Law School and Trinity College, where he focused on International Relations, was the 2007 Meade Prize Winner, and studied International Politics in Rome, Italy. Timothy Harvey is an entrepreneur, founder, and CEO of Owl Peak Labs. He is also an operating partner at QDS Capital, a tech and healthcare focused venture fund based in San Francisco and Virginia. As an Executive Director MKM Partners, Timothy was focused on capital markets and strategic business development. Before joining MKM Partners, Timothy joined the re-launch of The Athlete Book, a recruiting and digital marketing company supporting former athletes to prepare for venture funding. Timothy worked as an Institutional Equity Trader at Weeden & Co. and before that he was a Director at Talton Capital Management, a startup hedge fund in Chicago, IL. Timothy holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of South Alabama, Post-Baccalaureate in Finance from Northwestern University, and an MBA from the University of Virginia, Darden School of Business. Dana Goldsmith is Entrepreneur in Residence at CvilleBioHub, where she advises companies on strategy, business development, executive management and fundraising. Dana has focused the majority of her 25-year career on hi-tech, including 11 years in Silicon Valley as part of six venture-backed startups. She was also Director of Business Development for the original Amazon Web Services team in Seattle. Dana expanded her focus to include the biotech industry starting in 2009 with the formation of Shoulder Innovations, a cutting edge medical device company specializing in shoulder arthroplasty. Prior to her hi-tech career, Dana managed the Los Angeles and Chicago sales offices for Quad/Graphics, a multibillion dollar commercial printing company. She is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, where she was a scholarship tennis player.
