Harbor Management is seeking to fill a full-time experienced Maintenance Technician for our adult community in Ipswich, MA. The maintenance technician will have 2-3 years experience and assist tenants with repairs needed in their apartments as well as repairs to vacant units to turn-over the unit to make it ready for occupancy. The maintenance technician is also part of an on-call rotation that requires the candidate to live within 20-30 minutes of our properties to get to a site for emergency and after hours calls. Your Responsibilities: The Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance for the property. Responsibilities include completion of work orders, preventative maintenance, unit turnovers, janitorial, and grounds keeping. Your Qualifications: The successful candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in apartment maintenance with knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, and HVAC. Must have excellent communication skills and have a strong customer service philosophy. Must be available to participate in the emergency on-call service rotation. Candidate will nee to handle tools and lift heavy equipment when needed.
