Our Presenters
Laura Henrie is the Legal Director at the Disability Law Center (DLC). Laura’s practice has focused on litigating employment discrimination cases, advocating for students with disabilities to receive equal educational opportunities, and leading complex litigation and policy efforts to support and expand community integration options for people with disabilities.
Maya Violet Anderson is a staff attorney at the Disability Law Center who specializes in special education law. Her work primarily involves helping parents of students with disabilities in public schools to ensure that their children receive an appropriate education in the least restrictive environment, with a particular focus on school discipline, education access, and restraint and seclusion.
