The mission of Circles is to inspire and equip families and communities to resolve poverty and thrive. Circles Utah Valley is one of six chapters in Utah that aims to reduce poverty by 10% through two primary goals: to equip individuals and families with the skills, connections, and resources to get out of poverty, and to break down the barriers that keep people in poverty.
We can’t do this work alone. We need people like you who can share your knowledge and power across all sectors and create real change.
This is for business, government, faith, community service, health care & education leaders. Community members are encouraged to come to learn about poverty in Utah Valley and what can be done.
The poverty simulation experience is designed to help participants understand what it might be like to live in a typical low-income family, trying to survive from month to month.
This year we will hear from Representative Marsha Judkins, Pastor Justin Banks, and Circle Leaders.
A sack lunch is included.
