Join Mimi Girma, Founder & Designer of YESAET and Shelter Island resident for a fun workshop & trunk show in the gorgeous gardens of Sylvester Manor House on 09/03. You will re-imagine, connect and create using food and floral waste from Shelter Island and beyond. SUPPLIES TO BRING : Please bring a bucket/tray or an old stainless steel pan, a SMALL item you wish to upcycle and reinvent (such as a cotton, linen or silk top, no bigger than a tee shirt), botanical ingredients you wish to experiment with (red and yellow onion skin, avocado seeds, or floral waste), an old picnic blanket to sit on, and your creative selves. NO DROP OFFS - all kids need to be accompanied by an adult.
