Day 1 Led by OHRP, this one-day Workshop will provide an opportunity for small group and workshop discussions to help participants understand how to interpret and apply the U.S. federal regulations and policies on human research protections. Day 2 The ethical aspects of conducting human research, focusing on the emerging technologies in the consenting process (mobile platforms & remote consent), issues of participant privacy, considerations for vulnerable populations and the role of trust will be explored.
