Overview
The person who speaks the least, benefits the most. This is a common sales mantra and a lifeline for those intimidated by networking. By asking questions and listening intently, you not only take the focus off yourself, but you also equip yourself with wonderful content for future conversations. Building rapport and bonding with others create true connections.
What You'll Learn
This workshop is two events in one:
• A workshop focused on creating “Fascinating Questions”
• Networking—an opportunity to use those questions to discover fascinating information about those attending and their businesses.
Attendees will enjoy coffee and breakfast rolls, participate in the workshop, and then participate in networking designed and timed to go beyond the expected networking content and experiences.
During the workshop, attendees will enhance their questioning skills by exploring:
• Questions that elicit intriguing responses
• What it takes to ask fascinating questions
• Questions to avoid
• How to guide conversations so you—the person asking the questions and then listening—feel as involved and energized as the person answering.
