Filtered sunlight flows through the gaps in tangles of cottonwood branches, warming sun-kissed skin and providing essential Vitamin D to our human bodies. The vibrant cottonwood's leaves take in atmospheric carbon dioxide and in turn release oxygen back into the humid air. All around us, everywhere we look are signs of the influence of the  Universe beyond the pale blue dot we call home. Join Solar System Ambassador, Crystal White as we look deeper into the interconnections of life here on Earth and throughout the Universe. About the presenter:  A professional naturalist of over 20 years and amateur astronomer of sixteen years, Crystal White is the Owner/Lead Guide for Moab Astronomy Tours. She volunteers as a Solar System Ambassador with NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and receives intense training from the scientists and engineers throughout NASA’s network of centers. She is also the author of a Falcon Guide called “Starry Sky Adventures Utah”.
