Join us for our annual disABILITY conference and community resource fair. Do you want to: Better understand your, your child's disability Find program and service options Participate as team members with professionals during IEP preparation Understand state and federal laws Communicate more effectively with professionals Gain needed advocacy skills Build a support networkThen make plans to attend our annual conference and community resource fair. This year you can attend virtually (via Zoom) or in person! (In person attendees can qualify for travel stipends. See details below.) We have a great line up of presenters for this year's conference. Conference topics include: Fundamentals of BehaviorTransition ARD MeetingsLet's Talk About SexualityThis event will also include community resources and a youth self-advocate panel. In-person stipend information: Recipients must be parents of children with disabilities between the ages of 0 - 26. Parents must be willing to include their child's disability, ethnicity, and age on the scholarship application and conference registration form.Please complete the application in order to receive a travel stipend and attend our conference. The stipend link is: https://forms.gle/k5SGsZA4qStHYAjU6. The number of stipends are limited. Stipends will be approved and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.To be considered for a stipend, parents must complete the stipend application (link above) and the Eventbright conference registration form. Only one stipend per family and household will be awarded.Recipients must agree to attend the ENTIRE conference to qualify for a stipend.Stipend recipients will be required to sign an expense receipt at the END of the conference. Then Partners Resource Network will mail your stipend 2 weeks after the conference.The deadline to apply for a stipend is September 13th or until we have awarded all the stipend funds.
