Mental Health First Aid is a training course designed to give members of the public key skills to help someone 18 & over who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. The course covers a range of common disorders and potential crises such as helping someone who is having a panic attack, is suicidal or has experienced an addictions relapse. The course covers how to offer and provide initial help as well as how to guide a person toward appropriate care if necessary. Registration for this event will end Thursday September 27th at midnight. Due to funding restraints this course is offered to those serving in Orange County, California only. There is a minimum registration requirement of 10 participants in order for this training to be facilitated. If there are fewer than 10 participants, the training will be rescheduled for the upcoming month. Thank you for your cooperation and support.
