Description
Looking to rehome our 2 months old uzi to a loving family. uzi is, updated on her shots as of this month, and is house-trained. She's crate-trained if needed, large crate preferred, and can sleep overnight in one. She is also fine with being given free access around the house. Throughout the time we've spent with her she has not tore up anything (other than her toys). There aren't any major medical issues to have to worry about. Uzi is fine getting in and out of a tub. The only hygienic issue uzi has is that she doesn't let trimming go easy and will get spooked if you try to use normal clippers on her, so her claws are a bit on the longer side. Unfortunately due to financial issues we haven't been able to seek out a professional groomer. She is not aggressive (with food, toys) and loooves to play with anyone, even new guests--she loves new people, but occasionally will jump up out of excitement. uzi grew up with cats and children. She does however have an issue with chasing the 5 cats we have, always thinking they are into the type of play she is into. She has a control problem when it comes to chasing if another animal/person runs in her sight. She's seen other dogs, but has only had one personal playmate (Male, Boston Terrier) and is more into hyper play. A yard is preferred. We're not sure how she will clash with other dog personalities. So a home where she'll either have another playmate her size and a yard or one with no other pets may be best for her. She knows basic tricks such as sit, lay down, rollover, shake, and spin. She still has that high puppy energy in her and containing that has been a challenge for her. Past vet visits have made uzi react startled when she realizes she has to get into a vehicle but with some reassurance we believe she could make a nice backseat partner. We got uzi a while back from a family that we worried wouldn't give her the best life as a puppy so we got her out of there on a whim, and due to personal issues within the family and additional pets we've had before her--we can't give her the time that a dog truly deserves. We really would love for her to go to a family that's willing to give her a chance and be able to put time into her needs. Her rehoming FEE is $75 but we're willing to negotiate. She will come with her harness, collar, L crate and bowls if needed. If you'd like to do a meet with uzi to see if she's a good match for you/other pets we can discuss time and location. We live in the Callaway area. If there are any other questions you have regarding uzi you can ask via email or text. **Edit 8/13/22 Since I have gotten a handful of emails and no replies please let me know if you are no longer able to meet-up and/or adopt her. I've added a contact number under reply if you'd rather talk via text than email.
