The idea of Rootsfest is to give back and say thank you to our amazing customers, the community and everyone that brings Roots to life on a daily basis and with your help we can have another amazing celebration! FREE COMMUNITY EVENT! -dozens of natural foods + products vendors -live music -Satta Sound: Satta is a Vermont based, Live ROOTS + REGGAE DJ + other local musicians more info to come! -free bbq for all @noon -kids face painting + photobooth - tons of free samples -free yoga class @10am -NEW. This year! In the spirit of entrepreneurship! We are hosting a past and present employee entrepreneurial maker's market! Check it out! - Chicken Bum Artwork: hand crocheted koozies, watercolor paintings. hats and more. Artist: current kitchen employee Maria H. - Young Leven: cottage style micro-bakery that specializes in artisan wild yeast (sourdough) bread. baked locally in Leominster. All breads are created with wild yeast cultivated through nature, by hand with locally stone milled ingredients when possible.
