Description

The University of Iowa Weightlifting Club is to hold their second annual weightlifting championship. It will be held on November 5th at the Iowa Fieldhouse in Iowa City. Competitors will compete in the snatch and clean and jerk with medals awarded to the best totals in each weight category. First session will weigh in at 8 am on Saturday with session weigh ins every 2 hours until all competitors have lifted. Updates from last year, the warm up platforms will be behind the competition platform. Training hall will be available to early arivals on Friday. We have also blocked rooms at a local hotel and will provide a shuttle from the hotel every 30 minutes. Hotel link: Heartland Inn - Iowa City
