Exploring is an interactive, worksite-based career education program of Learning for Life, an affiliate of the Boy Scouts of America. The program serves young men and women who are in Middle School (6th-8th grade) and High School students (ages 14 through 20 years old). The CMPD Explorers Program is a hands-on program for students who are interested in a career in law or would like to see what CMPD is all about. The program offers students a look into the criminal justice system through training, practical experiences, competition and other activities. Additionally, the program promotes personal growth through character development, respect, physical fitness, good citizenship and leadership. Date & Time: Thursday, September 15, 2022 7:00p.m. to 8:30p.m. Location: CMPD Police Activities League 1330 Spring Street Charlotte, NC 28206 Annual Registration Fee: $85.00 and is collected at first meeting (cash or check, made payable to "Mecklenburg County Council").
