For the first time, Karen Wheeler will be presenting The Play Therapy Developmental Journey Map. This Map provides a framework for understanding and explaining the play content, themes, and developmental tasks of play sessions. This is a culmination of over two decades as a play therapist.
This in-person two-day training will utilize experiential play activities, videos of play sessions and pictures of play session content to demonstrate the client’s progress in development of what Viola Brody (Developmental Play) referred to as the “I” and Carl Jung (Jungian Play) called the “Self”.
Participants will understand and learn how to utilize the map to better conceptualize and provide treatment to their play therapy clients.
