I recognize many people here have good intentions about helping local homeless people, but they are also very ill-informed about the situation from what I keep finding out. You cannot expect people to get well when they're living on the streets. I am very close to being there myself. This podcast episode really sums it all up, and please listen to it before speaking on this issue any more. It's ridiculous some of the things I've heard from people and most of the time they hold positions that make things worse.
