Meet the Firms is an annual event held in the fall semester, specifically for accounting students. The event provides an opportunity for students to learn more about careers and opportunities within the accounting field, as well as network with companies in order to develop future contacts and employment and internship prospects. The event also provides accounting firms a chance to meet and connect with potential candidates from APSU to fill positions within their companies for full-time, part-time and internship positions. All accounting students are highly encouraged to attend, and employers should anticipate an approximate attendance of 50 students. This year's event will be held Oct. 4, 2022 from 5 - 7 p.m. at Austin Peay State University (317 College St.) in Clarksville, TN. Meet the Firms will be hosted in a brand-new format this year! Employers, students, and faculty will gather for a structured networking event with hors d'oeuvres and beverages.
