The Fred and Beverly Dukes Concert Series presents Bakersfield's own Celtic music band, "Banshee in the Kitchen". They will be performing live, in person on Sept. 25 at 4 pm at First Congregational Church of Bakersfield, 5 Real Rd. (corner of Stockdale Highway and Real Rd.). Banshee in the Kitchen plays Celtic music with eclectic skill and merry abandon. Touring and recording since 2002, this group has delighted audiences in festivals, theaters, living rooms, and countless other venues from New York to Los Angeles, and as far as Japan. Four versatile musicians play hammered dulcimer, accordion, tin whistle, guitar, fiddle and bass – they're sure to get your toes tapping!
