“Getting There From Here” looks back at the legacy of the Dailies Project, a PushPush concept from the early 2000s that challenged young filmmakers to create short works based on visual or verbal cues. The evening will feature pieces by PushPush artists and directors who have since moved on to successful feature film and television careers: David Bruckner (The Night House, The Ritual, the newly released reboot of Hellraiser), Dan Bush (The Dark Red, The Vault), and Jacob Gentry (Synchronicity, My Super Psycho Sweet 16, music videos for Broken Bells). The three collaborated on the popular thriller The Signal (2007), loosely inspired by a Dailies project called Exquisite Corpse. [Oct 21 & 22, 7:30 p.m.]
