Brought to you by the 2021 Governor Award-winning ColaJazz Foundation, the annual ColaJazz Fest is a capital highlight! Winner of Free Times' Best Music Event two years in a row (2021 & 2022), the ColaJazz Fest is an exciting weekend celebrating local and national jazz stars alike. The music ranges from blues, Latin, gypsy, swing, fusion, groove to straight-ahead jazz! Saturday night’s gala features three intimate concerts, a full bar, passed hors d’oeuvres and more inside the main lobby of the State Museum. Tickets are $50 per person for general admission and $85 for VIP. VIP ticket holders enjoy preferred seating, drink tickets and a little lagniappe. 6pm THE ORGANA TRIO A classic jazz lineup of organ, guitar and drums, this Columbia-based trio is heavily influenced by soul and the blues. 7pm AIMEE NOLTE Los Angeles musician, jazz pianist, sublime vocalist, celebrating jazz educator and thriving YouTube creator. 8:45pm CARL ALLEN Over 200 recordings to his credit, Carl Allen’s drumming have fueled the bands of Freddie Hubbard, Christian McBride, Branford Marsalis, Benny Golson, J.J.
