Join Digital Promise’s Center for Inclusive Innovation in Los Angeles, October 17 & 18 for our inaugural convening! Inclusive Innovation Convening 2022: Elevating the Ingenuity of Schools and Communities to Transform Education R&D #InclusiveInnovation22 will provide attendees with opportunities to: Learn about groundbreaking collaborations between schools and communities that advance equitable teaching and learningTour powerful community-based partnerships in Los Angeles supporting youth and learningSee emerging research and solutions from the Center for Inclusive Innovation and our community-district partners from around the countryEngage with new community-led, equity-centered models for education R&D and see promising examples in action from a range of leading education organizationsTackle shared problems of practice focused on centering students, communities, and familiesConnect with education stakeholders across sectors and placeWHO SHOULD ATTEND? District leaders, classroom educators, community-based organizations, entrepreneurs, researchers, policymakers, and others who want to learn, share, and collaborate on district-community partnerships and new models for education R&D During the convening. Hotel and Travel Information Convening sessions will be at the InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown (aside from the site visits Monday morning and the SoFi Stadium reception on Tuesday evening). The hotel is located in the Wilshire Grand building in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. Please plan to book your flight to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX – 18 miles), Bob Hope Airport (BUR – 16 miles), or Long Beach Airport (LGB – 26 miles). Travel time from these airports to the hotel is typically an hour in traffic. We have a limited number of discounted rooms available.
