For the first time in Rhode Island, Cox Business and RIHub are sponsoring the 2022 Rhode Island Young Entrepreneurs! Summit, a one-day event organized for RI high school students and educators to become more engaged with innovation & entrepreneurship! The 2022 YE! RI Summit will be held on Saturday, October 1st, 2022 from 10:00AM - 2:30PM EST at the CIC, District Hall (225 Dyer Street, Providence RI, 02903). This is a great opportunity for high school students to become more engaged with entrepreneurship, public speaking, networking, and problem-solving. Throughout the day, students will learn to create potential business ideas through our educational and interactive workshops, pitch those ideas at the YE! Pitch Competition, and have the chance to win prize money! The Network For Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) will present workshops to educators and administrators on implementing entrepreneurship education in their classrooms. For educators interested in requesting professional development credit from their school districts, we would be happy to provide any additional information. We welcome all participants to follow a workshop track that makes sense to them, regardless of previous business or entrepreneurial experience: TRACK 1: I Don’t Have An Idea TRACK 2: I Have an Idea, How Can I Build It?
