Connecting People. Inspiring Creatives. AAF Polk County introduces our newest annual signature event, The Creative Couch! Come join us and other creatives in the community for an opportunity to connect and inspire each other outside of the ADDYs event. This signature event will include a cocktail hour with music, heavy hors d'oeuvres, interactional activities, and a special guest speaker in a talk show format (Think Jimmy Fallon style). What does couch have to do with it? The couch will serve as a hot seat for a featured speaker who will share what impacts their creative processes, the success and obstacles they have faced to expand their influence, and how they have stayed focused on the purpose of their mission and message. This signature event is going to be a fun interactive time for your team members to engage and be entertained, and we hope you take away inspiration that motivates you to be creative personally and professionally! Maybe you want to show your talents in hopes of landing your future gig? We are offering Creative Boards for a chance to do just that. Each board is a chance to show your best creative efforts. It can be a collaboration of creative pieces, one campaign, or a big display. Boards are available until 08/25/22 and you get the two side panels. Your team can arrive one hour early (4:30 pm) to attach design pieces to the board prior to event. Attendees will write what inspires them when they reflect on your designs and your company will have a bowl of inspiration by other creatives across Polk County by the end of the night. Panel Dimensions: 6’ 5” (h) X 18 inches (each panel width). Two panels per creative board purchase. The cost of the Creative Board to enter is $250. Event Guest: Jordan Raynor Jordan Raynor, a sixth-generation Floridian, is the Executive Chairman of Threshold 360, a venture-backed tech startup which he previously ran as CEO following a string of successful ventures of his own. Jordan has twice been selected as a Google Fellow and served in The White House under President George W. Bush.
