Description

Please join the Bastiat Society of Tucson for an in-person luncheon with Bryan Cutsinger, Assistant Professor of Economics (Angelo State University) and Assistant Director of the Free Market Institute (Texas Tech) With prices increasing at a pace not seen in 40 years, inflation has once again become a hot topic. Politicians and pundits have offered various explanations for our recent inflationary woes including lingering supply-chain problems caused by COVID-19, the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and excessive fiscal stimulus. In this talk, Cutsinger examines each of these claims in light of the available evidence, and argues that only the last of these explanations has any merit.
