The very first MNOJ music event was Mark Dignam at Engine House 25. We had no clue what we were doing. We didn't provide any sound support, and just stuck Mark in the corner while the Yinz du Vin attendees chatted loudly and drank wine. Thankfully Mark was his usual gracious self, and we have gone on to work together on many events since then. The first band to stay with us and become like family was The Town Pants. We stalked them relentlessly after first seeing them at the Heron in 2008. That relationship really kicked off the hyper-active stage of Deb and i hosting bands and booking shows all over Western PA. A weekend honoring Deb would not be complete without Mark and TTP. Unfortunately, they both have gigs scheduled for October 1. So, we are going to test-drive the hay wagon stage and parking logistics with a much smaller crowd. We are taking just 50 reservations for the 9/30 event. Don't miss out!
