The Florida Department of Health in Orange County presents the “Welcome to One!” Maternal Child Health SummitOur goal is to celebrate the importance of babies reaching their first birthday and beyond by reducing health disparities, increasing health equity, and addressing social determinants of health in hopes to improve the health and well-being of moms, babies, and families in Orange County, FL. Therefore, we invite all moms, moms to be, moms of an infant 12 months of age or younger, as well as mom and baby supporters to a day of learning and empowerment. Participants will have the opportunity to gain valuable knowledge and techniques to help moms and babies, such as: breastfeeding and nutrition, safe sleep & shaken baby syndrome, infant CPR, fatherhood, and much more. If you are a mom, or soon to be mom, please join us. We highly recommend you bring a family or friend who will support you in your journey of motherhood. Referrals are highly recommended so please refer a friend or family member who is soon to be a mom or is a mom of an infant. Your referrals will be rewarded. Registration requirements: Orange County Florida resident, mom to be, mom of an infant 12 months of age or younger, family/friends of mom or mom to be. You have the opportunity to register until Friday, September 9th. Please note: Pre-screening registration is required. Space is limited based on eligibility. Questions? Cumbre sobre Salud Materno-InfantilNuestro objetivo es celebrar la importancia de que los bebés lleguen a su primer cumpleaños y más allá al reducir las disparidades de salud, aumentar la equidad en la salud y abordar los determinantes sociales de la salud con la esperanza de mejorar la salud y el bienestar de las madres, los bebés y las familias en el Condado de Orange, FL. Por lo tanto, invitamos a todas las mamás, futuras mamás, madres de un bebé de 12 meses de edad o menos, así como a las madres y los cuidadores del bebé a un día de aprendizaje y empoderamiento. Los participantes tendrán la oportunidad de obtener valiosos conocimientos y técnicas para ayudar a las madres y a los bebés, tales como: lactancia materna y nutrición, sueño seguro y síndrome del bebé sacudido, RCP infantil, paternidad y mucho más. Si eres mamá, o pronto serás mamá, únete a nosotros. Te recomendamos encarecidamente que traigas a un familiar o amigo que te apoye en tu proceso de maternidad. Las referencias son muy recomendadas, así que refiera a un amiga / familiar que pronto será mamá o a la mamá de un bebé. Sus referencias serán recompensadas. Requisitos de registro: Residente del Condado de Orange- Florida, futura mamá, mamá de un bebé de 12 meses o menos, Familia / Amigos de mamá o mamá futura.
