Description

I'm working on our 7th CD, and I'm looking for a professional vocalist to collaborate. The music is complete and recorded, and we're still working on vocals, so if you have access to a studio (preferably your own home studio) where you can record your vocal tracks, that would be great. Ultimately, you would need to provide the digital audio tracks of the vocals. The style? Glad you asked - think something along the lines of Rush, Queensryche, Iron Maiden, Fates Warning with a distinct ambient flavor. Lots of dynamics, atmosphere and diversity. Open to suggestions and creative flair, and certainly your vocal prowess and style, but the music (and programmed drum tracks) are finalized, so you'd be working within the parameters of recorded songs. Like all of my musical projects, this is entirely a self-financed and independent DIY project, so there isn't a payout budget but bartering is option. I'm a full time professional graphic artist, so that can be brought to the table as well. This release WILL be getting pressed and released on CD and marketed/promoted to labels as well as normal distribution channels. I can provide you with my musical portfolio and references upon request. I would prefer it if you did have audio and/or video of showcasing your skills and style or some kind of sample. Feel free to ask any questions you may have. The exposure, experience and project could be a rewarding one. No cheese fans, Pepsi fanatics, unreliable addicts, unprofessional flakes or multi-tentacled neo-cons need apply. Skill, ability, reliability, professionalism and creativity are all that matter. Thanks in advance!
